Internal Regulations of the Faculty of Science, Wasit University

This regulation is the charter that regulates the relationship between the student and the faculty, by organizing its cultural and scientific activities in the faculty.

• Students cooperate with the faculty administration to create opportunities and provide an appropriate environment for conducting scientific, cultural, and sports activities that enable them to develop their artistic and physical abilities.
• In case of wishing to hold scientific and cultural forums in the faculty, the fundamental approvals of the deanship of the faculty are obtained one month before the proposed date of holding the activity by submitting a written request to the dean of the faculty and taking into account coordination with the supervisor of cultural activities in order to facilitate the procedures and arrange them in the best possible way.
• Any general meeting or hanging of posters or publications is prohibited without obtaining prior authorization from the dean of the faculty.
• The faculty administration is keen to facilitate the procedures for cultural and scientific activities and provide all the possibilities and is committed to providing material and logistical support according to the financial allocations allocated for this purpose.
• The faculty administration is keen to provide a suitable place for each scientific department so that it can hold its cultural and scientific activities, such as holding meetings and preparing projects and work plans.
• The scientific department is committed to holding regular meetings of the department council, which deals with administrative, scientific and student affairs and raises it to the faculty council for review and approval.
• Supporting joint work between the scientific departments in a way that provides an opportunity for the optimal investment of the budget allocated to the faculty.
• Department heads undertake to coordinate with each other, in conjunction with the supervisor of cultural activities, to schedule activities, contributions, and scientific conferences, in order to create a scientific cultural momentum for the faculty.
• The faculty administration and the departments of scientific administration are committed to applying the instructions and regulations issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
• The Audit and Financial Control Branch in the faculty is committed to exercising its supervisory role in the faculty by following up the affairs of all branches and units, as well as the scientific departments and the extent to which they are committed to applying the laws, instructions and regulations related to their work.
