Wasit University discusses a doctoral thesis on the mechanical and physical properties of prefabricated building panels made of damaged basalt fibers resulting from the General Company for Mining Industries for the student Muayad Abdullah Mohammed
The Faculty of Science discussed a doctoral thesis on the mechanical and physical properties of prefabricated building panels made of damaged basalt fibers resulting from the General Company for Mining Industries, where the damaged basalt fibers available in the General Company for Mining Industries were used in abundance and resulting from the waste of production processes , which is considered one of the environmentally harmful materials, where two types of sandwich panels were used for optimal disposal of these materials on the one hand and the production of economic materials on the other hand, and the thesis aimed to get rid of basalt fibers Damaged where the study was PVA concentration of 4%, 5%, 10% and 20% during tensile and flexural tests where the tensile strength ranged between 0.185 MPa and 0.252 MPa, while the bending strength ranged from 3.2 and 0.564 and the highest bending resistance was at 20% of PVA material
