Under the auspices of Mr. President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Mazen Hassan Jassim al-Hasani, and under the supervision of Mr. Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Dr. Abdul Messrs. Abdul Abbas Rahi, who is now in the Faculty of Science/Department of Earth Sciences, the cultural scientific festival under the slogan “Mineral investment and natural resources in Wasit province”, in the presence of Mr. President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Mazen Hassan Jassim al-Hasani, Mr. Scientific Assistant Dr. Sabih Laptah and Mr. Administrative Assistant Dr. Ali Mahdi and Mr. Dean of the Faculty Professor Dr. Abdul-Sadah Abdul Abbas, Associate Gentlemen and Heads of Departments in our College, Mr. Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chairman of the University Promotions Committee, Mr. Chairman of the Geological Survey, Captain of Geologists Branch wasit and Assistant Director of Wasit Environment, where the festival included many events, the most important of which is the presentation of some important rocks in the environment and a history of earth science, the aim of the festival to increase scientific information on earth science in the audience.
